One of the things reflecting Indonesian women grafulness is the characteristic clothing, Kebaya. The attire, originally imposed as a means of social expression or status is then adapted to many regions in Indonesia. As for Kebaya Encim, it is accustomed to the Chinese ancestry. With finer embroidery, more vibrant colors and imported materials, it marked differently from Javanese kebaya as commonly worn by Chinese ladies in Java coastal cities.
